My Cats

Ok, folks I am going to take a little time off of speaking the truth about our Dear lil manchild president... OOps sorry Its happy time- i need to talk about my cats- yes i am straught I live with my wife and kids- I owe allot to cats when my wifes shy Siamesse cat Missy let me pet her- when I first met them- it was a good sign since missy never took well to strangers. Lets start when we moved into our house together with NAX- he was 12 qhich is like 60 in cat years he lived here until he was 18- he died at our house and we buried him in the backyard. He looked like the siamesse cat above except he was a little skinnier and much darker. when he was 13 the doctor said he had maybe 2 yrs to live- but his run of the house for a while... and still does - i saw him two nights ago a cat passed me as i wass going up stairs he was on his way down-when i got upstairs both cats were staring at me as if to say did you see him? I looked at them oth and said " yes, i saw him" and they looked ar each other and put their heads down on the bed and fell asleep. i loved Max he was a typical Siamesse Cat very active very curious and very smart he knew his name and would come when called and quite the talker - he was always talking he would go up the stairs m`er mer mer mer and then down the stairs mero mero mero he was spoiled he would only eat canned cat food but with his bad kidneys- no big deal it was easier for him to eat and pass through- he was a great cat-he was very cuddly he was asweet cat he knew when you were sick or tired if you were mad he would flop down at your feet and look at you as if to say "you have permission to pet me now. He is the only cat i have seen who would play fetch - my wife would roll up a paper ball-she would show it to him he would attack her hand with his paw she would toss the ball and he would bring it back in his mouth. Drop it in your hand or lap and wack you with his paw to toss it again. he also was funny he would be told "No" and he would wave his paw at you whenever he did not get his way-my wife said he started this just after he was declawed as my wife says to make her feel guilty. He was a great if not the best cat i have ever known. but on to the living cats

I miss him but we have two cats now...Perigrin Took Hellert aka Pippen, Pips, Piippy Cat We got him at SPCA. as a pound cat he is a warry resident very jumpy even after several years here he is the grey black stripped one witha n M on his head- he is a good cat he is starting to warm up to my kids at least the w youngest boy - he will get to pet him on occasions only when my wife is around- he will follow me down in the basement and jump up on a chair and bump heads and let me pet him... he is more of a mystery than anything-the first day i came home from the hospital-he jumped up on me and fell asleep.  Pippen will come when called sometimes depending on who calls. he is the mouser and will catch and incapacitate any silly mouse that comes in the house.

Then there is Darcy- he is the Siamese cat and looks almost exactly like the picture above. he is a cat that was privately raised in a home and likes to play and jump around climb into the rafters and is  always looking for food and attention he is after all Siam  esse. He meows and caws at the window and my favorite there was a dog in the side yard loose. he came up to the window which was closed the dog started barking- dacy was initially just resting the dog started to bark at the window Darcy arched his back and gave out a demonic hiss and who ccomes out of no where but Pips standing side by side with his brother hissing and howling at the dog who saw the two cats and  noticed the glass and took off as I came up to investigate the cats were a little startled by me but knew whose side I was on and "stood down each looking at me a as I see it wanting cudos for protecting our home - I was only happy to oblidgea few head and belly rubs. don't worry a half hor later they continued their  dailey freindly battles together.Darcy is a lovey cat he curls up with my wife and I at night in winter he comes under the covers in summer lays on the end of the bed right where the Ac blows on him...smart kitty I have a word document he wrote- chasing a fly anfd the mouse when i was eatingone day.

 All in all I love my cats living and dead and they bring joy and comfort to my life anyine who owns cats knows what i am talking about.
